Psyched to be seeing them at Webster Hall in a few months, with Guitar Player Jamie and Guitar Player Saul.
RIP Court Tavern
One of our favorite venues just closed down after more than 30 years - the Court Tavern in New Brunswick. It was one of the great NJ spots for music and will be sorely missed. I’ll always remember the good times we had playing there… like the time we covered Birthday for Guitar Player Saul’s Mom.
Anyone catch Jack White on American Pickers? Just caught up on my DVR and was pleasantly surprised to see him on there! I loved how he strong armed them on the value of his photo booth :)
UPDATE: if you missed it, you can watch on the history channel page.
We finally got together at the new space on Friday. It took us a while to get started (the space is still bit disorganized, but we’re working on that) but once we finally set up, plugged in and began to roll I was blown away… this is the best sounding rehearsal space we’ve ever had! It has nice high ceilings, treated walls, minimal room reverb, no sound bleed… it almost has the vibe of a live room in a pro studio. So happy that we rallied and made (yet) another move, I can see us staying in this spot for years to come :) Singer Joe couldn’t make it due to a 103 fever, but we worked on developing several new song ideas from Guitar Player Jamie and Guitar Player Saul and I’ve very excited about the new directions. We’re heading back Thurs night, with the full band. Can’t wait!
We received a few emails from these guys, seems like it could be a good resource for unsigned bands.
